EUROPEAN VAMPIRISM: Human Population Control - Monsanto Found Guilty Of Chemical Poisoning In France!

February 26, 2013 - FRANCE - A French court on Monday declared U.S. biotech giant Monsanto guilty of chemical poisoning of a French farmer, a judgment that could lend weight to other health claims against pesticides.

In the first such case heard in court in France, grain grower Paul Francois, 47, says he suffered neurological problems including memory loss, headaches and stammering after inhaling Monsanto's Lasso weedkiller in 2004.

He blames the agri-business giant for not providing adequate warnings on the product label.

The ruling was given by a court in Lyon, southeast France, which ordered an expert opinion of Francois's losses to establish the amount of damages.

"It is a historic decision in so far as it is the first time that a (pesticide) maker is found guilty of such a poisoning," François Lafforgue, Francois's lawyer, told Reuters.

Monsanto said it was disappointed by the ruling and would examine whether to appeal the judgment.

"Monsanto always considered that there were not sufficient elements to establish a causal relationship between Paul Francois's symptoms and a potential poisoning," the company's lawyer, Jean-Philippe Delsart, said.

Previous health claims from farmers have foundered because of the difficulty of establishing clear links between illnesses and exposure to pesticides.

Francois and other farmers suffering from illness set up an association last year to make a case that their health problems should be linked to their use of crop protection products.

The agricultural branch of the French social security system says that since 1996, it has gathered farmers' reports of sickness potentially related to pesticides, with about 200 alerts a year.

But only about 47 cases have been recognized as due to pesticides in the past 10 years. Francois, who suffers from neurological problems, obtained work invalidity status only after a court appeal.

LESS INTENSIVE NOW
The Francois case goes back to a period of intensive use of crop-protection chemicals in the European Union. The EU and its member countries have since banned a large number of substances considered dangerous.

Lasso, a pre-emergent soil-applied herbicide that has been used since the 1960s to control grasses and broadleaf weeds in farm fields, was banned in France in 2007 following an EU directive after the product had already been withdrawn in some other countries.

Though it once was a top-selling herbicide, it has gradually lost popularity, and critics say several studies have shown links to a range of health problems.

Monsanto's Roundup is now the dominant herbicide used to kill weeds. The company markets it in conjunction with its biotech herbicide-tolerant "Roundup Ready" crops. The Roundup Ready corn, soybeans, cotton and other crops do not die when sprayed directly with the herbicide, a trait that has made them wildly popular with U.S. farmers.

But farmers are now being encouraged to use more and different kinds of chemicals again as Roundup loses its effectiveness to a rise of "super weeds" that are resistant to Roundup.

And while the risks of pesticide are a generally known and accepted hazard of farming in most places, and farmers are cautioned to take care when handling the chemicals, increased use of pesticides will only cause more harm to human health and the environment, critic say.

"The registration process does not protect against harm. Manufacturers have to be held liable for adverse impacts that occur," said Jay Feldman, director of Beyond Pesticides, a non-profit group focused on reducing pesticide use.

France, the EU's largest agricultural producer, is now targeting a 50 percent reduction in pesticide use between 2008 and 2018, with initial results showing a 4 percent cut in farm and non-farm use in 2008-2010.

The Francois claim may be easier to argue than others because he can pinpoint a specific incident - inhaling the Lasso when cleaning the tank of his crop sprayer - whereas fellow farmers are trying to show accumulated effects from various products.

"It's like lying on a bed of thorns and trying to say which one cut you," said a farmer, who has recovered from prostate cancer and asked not to be named.

The French association of crop protection companies, UIPP, says pesticides are all subject to testing and that any evidence of a cancer risk in humans leads to withdrawal of products from the market.

"I think if we had a major health problem with pesticides, we would have already known about it," Jean-Charles Bocquet, UIPP's managing director, said.

The social security's farming branch this year is due to add Parkinson's disease to its list of conditions related to pesticide use after already recognizing some cases of blood cancers and bladder and respiratory problems.

France's health and environment safety agency (ANSES), meanwhile, is conducting a study on farmers' health, with results expected next year. - Reuters.

FUK-U-SHIMA: Japan's Nuclear Disaster Spreads Far And Wide - United States Bluefin Tuna From Fukushima Nuclear Meltdown Still Have Traces Of Radiation; Cesium Found In 100% Of Small, Recently Migrated Tuna Tested!

February 26, 2013 - CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES - Last May I wrote a piece about Bluefin tuna caught off the coast of southern California that carried radiation from the Fukushima, Japan, nuclear plant that was damaged in the March 2011. The fish were caught in August 2011 as they migrated east 6,000 miles from their spawning grounds in Japan in search of prey.

In that piece I talked about how, perhaps counter-intuitively, the radiation—which scientists say do not harm the fish—could actually be a good thing for the fish population. Bluefin, found in the Atlantic and northern and southern Pacific, are among the most prized table fish in the world (a single 489-pound fish fetched $1.76 million at a Tokyo fish auction last month). Because of that, their stocks have plummeted to dangerously low levels. Scientists assert that the radiation levels found in these tuna are not high enough to harm humans. But it is safe to say that the general dining public does not like to hear about radiation in their food.

Last week one of the authors of the study from last year, Daniel J. Madigan from Stanford University’s Hopkins Marine Station—along with five other scientists— published a new follow-up study. The main question that this new study wanted to answer: Would the migratory Bluefin tuna show up again a year later off the coast of California carrying radiation from Fukushima?

The answer was yes. (See below for the PDF of the study.) That means, ultimately, that there is still a high level of radiation in the waters near the Fukushima plant most likely because, as marine chemist, Ken Buessler, asserts, the plant is still leaking radiation into the ocean nearly two years later.

Madigan, in a phone interview, pointed out another interesting fact that he and his partners discovered: The radiation is, over time, excreted by the Bluefin. It is found in the fish’s muscle tissue and just the act of swimming eventually helps them work it out of their bodies. Some of the fish they sampled (from recreational catches) showed no traces of radiation after a year of swimming in and around California waters.

(As a side note, the Pacific Bluefin, once believed to be among the healthiest populations of Bluefin, were recently discovered to have dropped 96.4% from unfished levels.)

Bluefin remain a heated topic among scientists, environmentalists and commercial fisherman. Madigan also pointed out that his initial study was attacked by vocal members of both the environmental community (which charged him with underplaying the radiation levels in some sort of government conspiracy) and the commercial fishing community (which accused him of overplaying the radiation levels as some sort of environmentalist conspiracy).

Radiocesium In Pacific Bluefin Tuna Thunnus Orientalis In 2012 Validates New Tracer Technique.
The detection of Fukushima-derived radionuclides in Pacific bluefin tuna (PBFT) that crossed the Pacific Ocean to the California Current Large Marine Ecosystem (CCLME) in 2011 presented the potential to use radiocesium as a tracer in highly migratory species. This tracer requires that all western Pacific Ocean emigrants acquire the 134Cs signal, a radioisotope undetectable in Pacific biota prior to the Fukushima accident in 2011.

We tested the efficacy of the radiocesium tracer by measuring 134Cs and 137Cs in PBFT (n = 50) caught in the CCLME in 2012, more than a year after the Fukushima accident. All small PBFT (n = 28; recent migrants from Japan) had 134Cs (0.7 ± 0.2 Bq kg–1) and elevated 137Cs (2.0 ± 0.5 Bq kg–1) in their white muscle tissue. Most larger, older fish (n = 22) had no 134Cs and only background levels of 137Cs, showing that one year in the CCLME is sufficient for 134Cs and 137Cs values in PBFT to reach pre-Fukushima levels. Radiocesium concentrations in 2012 PBFT were less than half those from 2011 and well below safety guidelines for public health. Detection of 134Cs in all recent migrant PBFT supports the use of radiocesium as a tracer in migratory animals in 2012. - ACS Publications.

MASS ANIMAL AND FISH DIE-OFF: 40 Adult Penguins Die In Mass Die-Off On The Otago Peninsula In New Zealand, And Mass Fish Kills In Albany And Canberra, Australia!

February 26, 2013 - NEW ZEALAND - Tests are being carried out to determine what caused the deaths of more than 40 adult yellow-eyed penguins on the Otago Peninsula.

Officials hope the die-off does not become as bad as that of 1990 when almost 150 adult penguins died.

Department of Conservation (DOC) officer David Agnew said it took the penguin population in the area several years to recover from those deaths.

It was hoped the current deaths were being caused by a biotoxin occurring naturally in the marine environment, and for now it was assumed the fish the penguins were eating were making them ill.

40 Adult Penguins Die In Mass Die-Off On The Otago Peninsula In New Zealand.
"We're hoping that whatever is causing it, perhaps weather conditions affecting the water column, will dissipate so the penguins will return to normal, and hopefully penguin adults will stop dying," Agnew said.

The first dead penguin was found on January 21 and the latest were found last weekend, although some had been dead for some time.

"It's quite a blow," he said.

"In some cases, both the male and female of a pair might have succumbed to this."

Agnew, who is DOC's programme manager for biodiversity assets in coastal Otago, said staff were surveying more beaches today.

The dead birds had been sent to Massey University for autopsies. All had been found to have been in good condition when they died, without any obvious cause of death.

Two birds that had died recently were being sent to the Cawthron Institute to be tested for toxins.

It was hoped to have the results of those tests by early next week, Agnew said.

As well as the impact on the penguin population, another issue was that the birds were important for some tourism businesses.

He said the 40 deaths were spread over 13 breeding sites, so people visiting the sites were still able to see penguins.

As in 1990, dead birds were being found only around the Otago Peninsula, while penguins in North and South Otago were unaffected, Agnew said.

There were 450 to 500 breeding pairs around the South Island coast.

The timing was different in 1990, when the penguins started dying earlier, meaning many more chicks had to be taken into captivity, where they had to be looked after for much longer.

He said that was not such a big issue this time as the young birds were due to head out to sea about mid-February.

This summer had been good for chicks, with the young birds mostly reaching healthy weights. Any that were found to need help, perhaps underweight or with both parents dead, were being cared for.

"For us it's the loss of the breeding adults. They know how to survive, where to forage and where to breed," Agnew said.

A plan was being prepared to ensure as rapid a recovery as possible of the yellow-eyed penguin population on the peninsula, he said. - Stuff.

Fish Kill In Lake Ginninderra In Canberra, Australia.
A redfin virus is believed to be responsible for a fish kill in Lake Ginninderra last week.

Staff from Territory and Municipal Services and the Environment Sustainable and Development Directorate were called out to clean up many hundreds of dead fish on Thursday last week.

A TAMS spokesman said the majority of dead fish were redfin, an introduced species, and a virus is the suspected cause.

“Tissue samples of the dead fish have been sent for laboratory testing in Sydney with results expected early next week,” the spokesman said.

“EHN or redfin virus, which has previously been reported in Lake Ginninderra and Lake Burley Griffin, is believed responsible. EHN poses no risk to human health.”

He said there was no correlation between the fish kill and the recent release of more than 30,000 golden perch fingerlings into the lake.

Any further sightings of dead fish in Canberra’s lakes and rivers should be reported to Canberra Connect on 13 22 81. - Canberra Times.

Phytoplankton analysis of water samples taken from Marbellup Brook by the Department of Water confirmed the bloom was cyanobacteria Nodularia spumigena, a species common to waterways in the region. Image: Wikicommons.
Great Southern Algae Bloom Kills Waterway Fish In Albany, Australia.
A SIGNIFICANT freshwater fish kill 15km west of Albany earlier this month has been attributed to a large bloom of blue-green algae affecting the waterway.

Residents in Elleker living adjacent to Marbellup Brook first notified water authorities of the bloom at the end of January when hundreds fish were found dead along a 1.4km stretch of water within the Torbay catchment area.

Phytoplankton analysis of water samples taken from Marbellup Brook by the Department of Water confirmed the bloom was cyanobacteria Nodularia spumigena, a species not uncommon to waterways in the region.

Nodularia is known to produce a liver-damaging hepatotoxin that can adversely affect birds and mammals, but evidence in the water samples showed no sign of any microalgae species toxic to fish.

Department of Water south coast regional manager Brett Ward says analysis indicated the algal bloom was in late stages of decomposition when samples were taken.

“During the decomposition phase [of an algal bloom] oxygen is taken up, which often depletes the system, as indicated by the very low oxygen levels present at the time of sampling,” he says.

“This supports the likely cause of the fish deaths being due to the low oxygen levels.”

At least 100 black bream and five mullet were officially recorded dead.

However, department staff were unable to obtain suitable fish samples for analysis due to decomposition, thus were unable to conclusively state oxygen depletion caused the fish-kill event.

Low rainfall over winter resulting in reduced stream flow, combined with recent hot weather has been attributed to the increased risk of algal blooms, which according to many Elleker residents have been a common occurrence throughout the Torbay catchment for 25 years.

The annual stagnation of Marbellup Brook also has residents concerned as provides conditions for the spread of mosquito-borne Ross River virus (RRV).

At least two recorded incidents RRV have been recorded in the area in the last seven years.

The Water Corporation has installed a temporary pumping operation in the affected area to help improve water circulation, aiming to minimise reformation of large algae blooms. - Science Network.

THE PRIEST CLASS OF THE MAGI: Tracking Monumental Developments At The Vatican And The Unraveling Of The Papacy - Final Verdict Is Rendered In First Common Law Court Case Against The Vatican And Canada For Genocide; Pope, Queen And Canadian Prime Minister Found Guilty Of Crimes Against Humanity And Sentenced To 25 Year Prison Terms; Court Orders Them To Surrender By March 4 Or Face Citizen's Arrests!

February 26, 2013 - BELGIUM - Pope Benedict will go to jail for twenty five years for his role in Crimes against Humanity, and Vatican wealth and property is to be seized, according to today's historic verdict of the International Common Law Court of Justice.

The Brussels-based Court handed down a unanimous guilty verdict from its Citizen Jurors and ordered the citizens' arrest of thirty Defendants commencing March 4 in a Court Order issued to them today.

The verdict read in part,

"We the Citizen Jury find that the Defendants in this case are guilty of the two indictments, that is, they are guilty of committing or aiding and abetting Crimes against Humanity, and of being part of an ongoing Criminal Conspiracy"

The Jury ruled that each Defendant receive a mandatory twenty five year prison sentence without parole, and have all their personal assets seized.

The Court went on to declare in its Order No. 022513-001,

"The Defendants are ordered to surrender themselves voluntarily to Peace Officers and Agents authorized by this COURT, having been found Guilty as charged.

"The Defendants have seven days from the issuing of this ORDER, until March 4, 2103, to comply. After March 4, 2013, an International Arrest Warrant will be issued against these Defendants".

The guilty parties include Elizabeth Windsor, Queen of England, Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, and the head officers of the Catholic, Anglican and United Church of Canada. (A complete copy of the Verdict, the Court Order and a list of the Defendants is enclosed on the accompanying you tube link).

The guilty verdict followed nearly a month of deliberations by more than thirty sworn Citizen Jurors of the 150 case exhibits produced by Court Prosecutors.

These exhibits detailed irrefutable proof of a massive criminal conspiracy by the Defendants' institutions to commit and conceal Genocide on generations of children in so-called Indian residential schools across Canada.

None of the Defendants challenged or disputed a Public Summons issued to them last September; nor did they deny the charges made against them, or offer counter evidence to the Court.

"Their silence told me a lot. Why wouldn't innocent people defend their own reputation when accused of such horrible things?" commented one Juror, based in England.

"These crimes were aimed at children, and were a cold and calculated plan to wipe out Indians who weren't Christians. And the defendants clearly are still covering up this crime. So we felt we had to do more than slap their wrist. The whole reign of terror by state-backed churches that are above the law has to end, because children still suffer from it".

The Court's judgement declares the wealth and property of the churches responsible for the Canadian genocide to be forfeited and placed under public ownership, as reparations for the families of the more than 50,000 children who died in the residential schools.

To enforce its sentence, the Court has empowered citizens in Canada, the United States, England, Italy and a dozen other nations to act as its legal agents armed with warrants, and peacefully occupy and seize properties of the Roman Catholic, Anglican and United Church of Canada, which are the main agents in the deaths of these children.

"This sentence gives a legal foundation and legitimacy to the church occupations that have already begun by victims of church torture around the world" commented Kevin Annett, the chief adviser to the Prosecutor's Office, who presented its case to the world. (see www.itccs.org, November 6 and January 30 postings)

"The verdict of the Court is clearly that these criminal church bodies are to be legally and practically disestablished, and their stolen wealth reclaimed by the people. Justice has finally begun to be be served. The dead can now rest more easily."

Court officers are delivering the Order to all the Defendants this week, including to the Canadian Prime Minister, the Queen of England and to Joseph Ratzinger, the retiring Pope Benedict who is avoiding arrest within the Vatican after suddenly resigning two weeks ago.

The citizens' arrests of these and other Defendants will commence on March 4 if they do not surrender themselves and their assets, as per the Court Order.

These actions will be filmed and posted at here in the coming week, along with further updates from the Court and its Citizen Agents.

EUROPEAN VAMPIRISM: Human Population Control - 60 Lab Studies Now Confirm Cancer Link To A Vaccine You Probably Had As A Child; Contaminated Polio Vaccine Responsible For Human Cancer Cases; Rotavirus Vaccine Contaminated With Pig Virus; Vaccines Can Cause The Very Disease They’re Meant To Prevent, And Worse!

February 26, 2013 - UNITED STATES - Dr. Maurice Hilleman made astounding revelations in an interview that was cut from The Health Century — the admission that Merck drug company vaccines had been injecting dangerous viruses into people worldwide. Bear in mind that Dr. Hilleman was the developer of Merck’s vaccine program. He developed over three dozen vaccines, more than any other scientist in history. He was a member of the U.S. National Academy of Science, the Institute of Medicine, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the American Philosophical Society. He received a special lifetime achievement award from the World Health Organization. Hilleman was one of the early vaccine pioneers to warn about the possibility that simian viruses might contaminate vaccines.

Dr. Mercola’s Comments:
I think it’s important to remember history when it comes to vaccines, especially in light of current developments.

For starters, the HPV vaccine Gardasil, which is being vigorously pushed on unsuspecting young girls and women to theoretically guard against cervical cancer still has never been proven to actually prevent cancer. On the contrary, evidence suggests that under certain circumstances the vaccine increases your risk of precancerous lesions by nearly 45 percent, and an ever increasing number of girls are being seriously injured by this unnecessary vaccine. As of December 13, 2010, 20,915 adverse reactions had been reported in the United States alone, including 89 deaths, 297 miscarriages or stillbirths, and 370 reports of abnormal pap smears post vaccination.

All of this from a vaccine that has only been on the market for four years!

Making matters worse, as of 2009 the US FDA approved Gardasil for use on young boys as well, and the first male death has also been reported. In September of last year, a young boy died just eight days after being vaccinated with Gardasil.

So what’s going on here?

Is it possible that vaccines sold by drugmakers like Merck are causing lethal disease? Judging by history, the answer may be yes.

Contaminated Polio Vaccine Responsible for Human Cancer Cases

In 2002, the journal Lancet published compelling evidence that contaminated polio vaccine was responsible for up to half of the 55,000 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma cases that were occurring each year.

What was it contaminated with?

SV40, a cancer-causing monkey virus. The puzzle began in 1994, when Dr. Michele Carbone, a Loyola University researcher, found the virus SV40, which had never before been detected in humans, in half of the human lung tumors he was studying. Since then, 60 different lab studies have confirmed the results, and SV40 has been found in a variety of human cancers, including lung-, brain-, bone-, and lymphatic cancer.

At first no one could fathom how the virus had been transmitted into the human population. But in the censored interview with Dr. Maurice Hilleman above, Hilleman admits Merck’s responsibility in unleashing this virus via their polio vaccine, as well as the likelihood that there was an importing and spreading the AIDS virus in the same manner.

Just Who is Dr. Maurice Hilleman?

Now, for those of you who may think Dr. Hilleman was just another crackpot (he passed away in 2005), think again. He was, and still is, the leading vaccine pioneer in the history of vaccines. He developed more than three dozen vaccines—more than any other scientist in history—and was the developer of Merck’s vaccine program.

He was a member of the U.S. National Academy of Science, the Institute of Medicine, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the American Philosophical Society, and received a special lifetime achievement award from the World Health Organization.

When he was chief of the Department of Respiratory Diseases with what’s now the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, he discovered the genetic changes that occur when the influenza virus mutates, known as shift and drift. He was also one of the early vaccine pioneers to warn about the possibility that simian viruses might contaminate vaccines. So Dr. Hilleman knew what he was talking about. And in his own words, “vaccines have to be considered the bargain basement technology for the 20th Century.”

Vaccines Can Cause the Very Disease They’re Meant to Prevent, and Worse

For years, researchers suggested that millions of vials of polio vaccine, contaminated with SV40, infected individuals between 1953 and 1963 and caused human tumors, and by 1999, molecular evidence of SV40 infections were showing up in children born after 1982. Some experts now suggest the virus may have remained in the polio vaccine until as late as 1999.
Still, the FDA and health authorities turned a blind eye.

In addition, just like Gardasil may well increase your risk of cervical cancer rather than reduce it, the live polio vaccine has also been found to cause polio. And, in rare instances the virus in the vaccine has even been known to mutate into a much deadlier version.  As reported by MSN News in 2009, genetic analysis has proven such mutated viruses have caused at least seven separate outbreaks in Nigeria.

According to the CDC the last case of wild polio in the US—meaning polio caused naturally and not due to the live polio vaccine—occurred in 1979. From 1980 through 1999, there were NO wild polio cases in the US. Instead we had 144 cases of vaccine-associated paralytic polio (VAPP) caused by live oral polio vaccine.

Polio outbreaks in Haiti and the Dominican Republic in 2002 were also traced back to a strain of oral polio vaccine (OPV) that mutated back to virulence.

According to a report by Neil Z. Miller of the Global Vaccine Institute, the live polio virus from the vaccine can remain in your throat for one to two weeks and in your feces for up to two months. So not only is the vaccine recipient at risk, but he or she can potentially spread the disease to others.

In 1999, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommended that the United States replace the live-virus vaccine with an inactivated “killed” virus vaccine, which is what remains in use today. However, the inactivated polio virus vaccine has not been without its share of serious side effects either.

Rotavirus Vaccine Contaminated with Pig Virus

Last year, the US FDA suspended the rotavirus vaccine Rotarix after an independent lab discovered it was contaminated with “a substantial amount” of DNA from the porcine circovirus. In pigs, this virus causes poor growth, weight loss, weakness, enlarged lymph nodes, skin rashes, difficulty breathing, jaundice, stomach ulcers, and sudden death.

As expected, both the FDA and GlaxoSmithKline spokespeople stated that the contaminated Rotarix vaccine carried no known human health risks. However, this is easy to say since there are no studies to confirm or deny a link between these viruses and human disease.

In the case of the polio vaccine, the link between the SV40 virus and human cancer wasn’t discovered until 40 years later!  It is actually surprisingly common for vaccines to contain various animal matter, including foreign animal tissues containing genetic material (DNA/RNA). Once the Rotarix contamination was discovered, new technology was used to test eight infectious attenuated viral vaccines, and in addition to Rotarix, two others contained “unexpected viral sequences”:
  1. A measles vaccine was found to contain low levels of the retrovirus avian leukosis (AVL) virus—a virus known to cause cancer in chickens. This despite the fact that vaccine manufacturers have been required to use eggs from leucosis-free stocks for over 40 years.
  2. Rotateq, Merck’s rotavirus vaccine, was found to contain a virus similar to simian (monkey) retrovirus—the SV40 virus previously linked to human cancer.
Are you willing to bet that they a) know what they’re talking about, and b) are telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth about the potential health dangers of all these vaccines?

HPV Vaccine Now Routine for Boys as Well…

So far, very few parents have voluntarily lined up their sons for the HPV vaccine, but that may soon change. As reported by Paging Dr. Gupta, the American Academy of Pediatrics’ 2011 schedule of recommended routine vaccines for children and teens now includes the HPV vaccine for boys aged 9-18 as well.

Folks, this is a disaster in the making. I shudder to think about the statistics we’ll see in a few years if parents fall for this nonsense.

I urge you to consider the risks already revealed in the four short years since Gardasil came on the market. Already, there are close to 21,000 reported incidents of adverse effects and death, despite the fact that only two out of every 10 women in the approved age group have gotten the vaccine so far.

Add to this the fact that an estimated 90 to 99 percent of all adverse effects are never reported, and the abnormally large risks of the HPV vaccine compared to other vaccines should give most people reason to pause.

Although the FDA ultimately dismisses all side effects, including deaths, as being within the norm, even they have stated that:
“In VAERS, a higher proportion of Gardasil reports were of syncope [fainting] and VTEs [venous thromboembolic events] compared with other vaccines.
And according to the National Vaccine Information Center, the incidents of miscarriage and still birth events from Gardasil supersede the same event from all other vaccinations.
According to a recent Sane Vax press release on PR Log:
“There is no doubt the vaccine’s safety and efficacy has not been thoroughly investigated. And independent investigation on the safety and efficacy of the HPV vaccines, Gardasil and Cervarix must be conducted before there are more injuries and deaths.”
What’s most frustrating about this is that not a single one of these 21,000 children and young women needed to be harmed or die.

Why?

There are still outstanding questions about whether HPV is or is not the direct cause of cervical cancer. The FDA knows there are many other co-factors involved with the development of cervical cancer, and as of 2003 acknowledged that “most infections (by HPV) are short-lived and not associated with cervical cancer.” The same news release also states that “with proper screening, cervical cancer is avoidable, and if caught early, curable.”

In essence, three years before the HPV vaccine came upon the scene, they knew that what was needed—if anything—was simply improved screening methods, such as regular pap smear testing for girls and women that are far less risky than getting an HPV shot.

Interestingly, and disturbingly, routine pap smears have DECLINED, coinciding neatly with the release of the HPV vaccine. Between 2007 and 2010, cervical cancer screening rates declined by nearly 7 percent, the New York Times reported in December of last year.

When you consider that the HPV vaccine increases your risk of cancer if you’re already infected with certain types of HPV, this is a double-whammy of bad news since rarely, if ever, are girls and women given HPV pap screening before they get an HPV shot.

It’s all madness! Not only is the HPV vaccine is one of the most unnecessary vaccines on the market, it is also the most dangerous! And now they want to unleash it on young boys, and they’re trying to get it approved for older women as well.

Weighing Benefits versus Risks

Even without a potential contamination scare, there are serious risks to every vaccine. The HPV vaccine is a perfect example. So before vaccinating you really need to be certain that the benefits will outweigh those risks.

In the case of Rotarix, along with RotaTeq (a similar vaccine made by Merck), the benefits are very questionable, especially if you live in the United States or another developed country. Typically, when a child in the United States contracts rotavirus, and most do in infancy and early childhood, all that is required is lots of rest, good nutrition and plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration from diarrhea. This infection also provides natural immunity that will protect your child for life.

Along with showing little benefit for a disease that is typically entirely treatable with fluids and rest, a recent drug review by the FDA found that Rotarix is associated with an increase in pneumonia-related deaths in children, compared to a placebo.

So with this particular vaccine, children living in developed countries like the US are potentially taking on serious risks with what appears to be very little benefit — and that was before the contamination was uncovered.

In the case of the HPV vaccine (Gardasil and Cervarix) the choice is clear. It has a high rate of risk and the potential benefits are unproven:
  • In more than 70 percent of cases, HPV clears up on its own within a few weeks or months. In over 90 percent of cases, it’s gone within two years, causing no symptoms or disease.
  • Only about 26 percent of girls and women ages 14 to 59 have been exposed to any HPV strain at all; and
  • Only 2 percent have been exposed to strains 16 or 18 – the two that Gardasil and Cervarix protect against – meaning this vaccine is completely unnecessary because HPV infection very rarely leads to cancer.
  • Women whose partners wore condoms during vaginal intercourse are 70 percent less likely to become infected with HPV. That’s a FAR greater level of protection than you can get from this vaccine!
For more in-depth information about the HPV vaccine along with the top 10 reasons why you don’t need it, please see this previous article.

The moral of the story?

Do your homework before subjecting your children to any vaccine. A great way to get started is to simply use the Search Feature at the top of each of my Web pages and search my site as it contains a litany of research on vaccine safety, and the lack thereof. The National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) also provides well-referenced information on vaccines and diseases, such as HPV, rotavirus and polio.

MASS FISH DIE-OFF: Thousands Of Fish Killed By Chlorinated Water In San Mateo, California!

February 26, 2013 - UNITED STATES - A broken pipe sent thousands of gallons of drinking water cascading into San Mateo Creek over the weekend, killing scores, possibly thousands, of fish from chlorine poisoning.

The dead fish began floating to the surface Saturday when a thousand gallons a minute of chlorinated water flowed down a forested hillside into the creek about a half-mile below Crystal Springs Reservoir, according to utility officials and residents.

Utility officials located the break in a 60-inch-diameter pipe next to a concrete bridge adjacent to Crystal Springs Road, near the border of Hillsborough and San Mateo. It took them eight hours to cut off the flow along a 4-mile section of pipeline, but water was still leaking out Monday at a rate of 200 gallons a minute, officials said.

The exact death toll has not yet been determined, but at least 30 fish could be seen lying on the bottom and floating along a 100-yard section of the creek, which rolls past stately homes beneath towering oak trees. Rare steelhead trout, which have been listed as threatened along the Central Coast under the Endangered Species Act since 1997, were believed to have been killed.

"It's bad," said Stephen Rogers, a local resident who stood along the shaded banks looking at the streambed. "The fish here are an indicator species - like the canary in the coal mine. As long as the canary's alive, things are fine, but when something like this happens, things are not fine."

San Mateo Creek flows about 5 miles into San Francisco Bay from the reservoir, which collects rainwater as well as water piped in from Yosemite's Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. Spanish explorer Juan Bautista de Anza is said to have camped by the creek in 1776.

The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission oversees Crystal Springs and the rest of the sprawling network that supplies drinking water to 2.5 million people in San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Alameda counties.

The break, which was first reported at 4 p.m. Saturday, sent up a huge geyser of water that flowed 50 yards down a hillside through a backyard into the creek. The 1932-era pipe was between 3 and 8 feet underground and next to two tall oak trees with large root systems that may have played a part in the leak. Utility officials had been replacing pipe in the area, including a large section last fall.

Aging pipes
"We don't know if it was corrosion or a seal or what," said Steven Ritchie, the assistant general manager for water at the utilities commission. "There are joints in pipes. Sometimes they shift. We don't know exactly why it broke, but it was undoubtedly related to its old age."

Stephen Rogers walks along the San Mateo Creek behind his home. "It's bad," he says. "The fish here are an indicator species - like the canary in the coal mine. As long as the canary's alive, things are fine." Photo: Lea Suzuki, The Chronicle.
Workers found the break within three hours, but it took several hours before the flow could be substantially reduced. Ritchie said the water flow must be throttled down slowly because if it were shut down all at once, the pressurized water would then back up, creating breaks further up the line.

Halting flow
The flow was only a couple hundred gallons a minute by Sunday morning. By Monday, utility workers had channeled the leaking water into a pool carved out halfway down the hill, where they added sodium bisulphate to remove the chloramine, which the utility uses in drinking water to kill bacteria.

"One of the challenges with drinking water is that the things we need to add to it to make it safe can be toxic out in the environment," Ritchie said. "The chlorine is what makes it safe for us to drink, but it doesn't do very well in a stream. It's basically bleach and it kills fish, but it's far better to kill micro-organisms that might cause disease than to drink water that has disease-causing agents in it, like cholera."

Besides trout, sculpin, stickleback and suckerfish were killed. Ducks, great blue herons and other wildlife were feeding on the dead fish, which range in size from 6 inches to a foot.

"I don't know if it killed all the species," Rogers said, "but the creek looks sterile. It could take years for it to recover."
Preventive measures

Officials with the Regional Water Quality Control Board and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife were investigating Monday, but it was too early to tell what, if any, penalties will be instituted.

"As far as I'm concerned, any fish that we kill is a problem," Ritchie said. "We pride ourselves on taking care of the environment, so this is really of great concern to us. Our job now is to make sure it doesn't happen again." - SF Gate.

PLAGUES & PESTILENCES: Thousands Of Chickens And Hundreds Of Birds Found Dead From Bird Flu In Nepal!

February 26, 2013 - NEPAL - The rapid response team deployed by the District Veterinary Clinic, Kathmandu on Saturday culled all the remaining 2,610 chickens following confirmation of H5N1 virus in the poultry farm owned by Kishor Tandukar of Jitpurfedi- 1 Kathmandu.

The team that comprises vets and technicians also destroyed 1,000 kg of chicken feeds stored in the farm.

The outbreak is the fourth in the last one-and-a-half months in the district, said the Directorate of the Animal Health (DoAH).

“Of the 4,000 chickens in the farm, the rapid response team has culled 2, 610,” said Dr Narayan Prasad Ghimire, senior veterinarian at DoAH, adding, “The remaining chickens died of infection.”

The Central veterinary Laboratory under DoAH confirmed on Friday that the chickens had contracted the virus. Following the confirmation, the district co-ordination committee led by Chief District Officer (CDO) Chudamani Sharma had taken the decision to cull the infected chickens. “We have responded on time,” he added.

A surveillance team had brought the samples on Friday morning for the analysis. Tandukar had informed the veterinary officials after scores of chickens started to die in his farm.

Dr Ghimire said that the risk of H5N1 virus spread is high during winter and hence the need for extra precaution. The directorate has urged all poultry farmers to take good care of the fowls. Fowls avoiding feed, standing still with head down and excreting saliva could be symptoms of H5N1 virus infection, said Ghimire.

DoAH said that the team has also completed first phase of disinfection at the farm. It has also urged poultry farmers to immediately inform vet officials if chickens started to die. DoAH, Kathmandu said it has intensified surveillance.

Earlier in December last year, the disease was confirmed in a poultry farm at Ramkot and Sitapaila VDCs of the district. The virus was detected in poultry farms in Dhading and Nuwakot, the adjoining districts of Kathmandu.

Meanwhile, DoAH has said that people can consume chicken and eggs without any hesitation, as all the infected chickens have been culled. The office has also appealed people to cook the chicken properly before eating. - Republica.

Bird flu has been confirmed on fowls at a farm of a farmer at Anarmani VDC-1 in Jhapa district.

A test carried out at the Central Livestock Lab, Kathmandu, confirmed the bird flu on the fowls of the farm of Bhim Mukhiya as some 200 fowls started to die from the past few days.

According to Chief at the District Livestock Office, Dr. Dilip Sapkota, the report sent from the Lab on Sunday proved the bird flu.

A team comprising eight members including specialist doctor destroyed the remaining 30 fowls, carried out cleanliness of the coop and sprayed medicines this morning, said Sapkota. - The Himalayan Times.

FIRE IN THE SKY: The Most Breathtaking Pictures Yet Of Russian Meteorite - Photographer Captured Exploding Space Rock On Camera, Despite Thinking It Was Nuclear Bomb That Would Kill Him!

February 26, 2013 - RUSSIA - A professional photographer today told of the moment he feared a nuclear bomb had gone off when the Russian meteorite tore through the sky as he took pictures of an idyllic rural scene.

Marat Akhmetaleyev, 31, had just set up his tripod when the space rock lit up the crisp, morning sky almost where his camera was pointing.

Despite trembling with shock, he instinctively started to snap away.

The 100,000-tonne meteorite exploded over Russia’s Ural Mountains on Friday, injuring nearly 1,500 people and causing widespread property damage in city of Chelyabinsk.

The debris narrowly missed a direct and devastating hit on the industrial city which has a population of 1.13 million but spread panic through its streets as the sky above lit up with a blinding flash.

Ice hole: The meteor left this 50ft hole in a frozen lake on the outskirts of Chelyabinsk, in the Urals.
Disaster: Some of the destruction caused by the meteor which exploded with the force of 30 Hiroshima bombs.
Measuring around 55 feet in diameter, scientists claim it is the biggest space rock to have hit earth in more than a century.

It created a huge hole in a frozen lake when it crashed into the ground.

Scientists have found more than 50 tiny fragments of the meteor, allowing them to uncover information about its contents.

But local residents have been more interested in the black market value of the fragments since the dramatic incident, as a ‘gold mine’ has been kickstarted fior the valuable pieces.

As they search for their own pieces of the meteor, rocks have already been put on the internet for sale, and police are warning all purchasers to prepare for possible fraud. - Daily Mail.

Ex-Soldier Goes On Deadly Rampage, Shoots Mother-in-Law, Injures Wife And Mother Of His Two Children, Then Rapes Another Woman.
The Clarendon police were last night searching for ex-Jamaica Defence Force soldier Wilbert Pryce who Sunday night allegedly shot dead his mother-in-law, injured his wife and mother of his two children in Bryan's Hill, then went to a nearby community where he was accused of raping a woman.

According to the police, the shootings and rape were the latest in a series of attacks carried out by the former soldier, who was two years ago released from prison where he served a three-year sentence for abusing his wife, Tamara Pryce, who it appeared was the main target of his attack on Sunday.

Tamara Pryce, who was shot multiple times, was last night in hospital in serious condition.

Police said the ex-soldier's mother-in-law, Maxine Fearon, a 45-year-old dressmaker and farmer, was at home on Sunday night with her daughter and other family members when Pryce drove up to the house about 9:45.

"Reports we received are that he went to the house and started to shout that he wanted to see his estranged wife," one police investigator told Jamaica Observer yesterday.

Glen Fearon, husband of Maxine Fearon, who was shot dead allegedly by her son-in-law, Wilbert Pryce, Sunday night, points to his bandaged head as he explains that he was attacked by Pryce.
The policeman said the former army man, who apparently became angry when his estranged wife did not come outside to see him, forced his way into the house, after which explosions were heard.

"Reports we received are that he went into the house and opened fire, hitting Fearon, the mother of his wife, who died on the spot," said another investigator. He added that Tamara, in an attempt to escape, ran to a nearby bar where several residents of the community were having a drink.

"A sit me sit down and hear the screams and see when the man run down the woman all the way from her house over to the bar," a resident alleged. The woman, he said, was then shot several times.

"Him run her down [and] shoot her as she entered the bar, and that was when she jumped over the bar counter and tried to escape, and that was when him come over her and shoot her again and cuss a bad word (expletive) and walk away," said another resident, who claimed to have witnessed the shooting.

Glen Fearon, husband of the slain woman, said he had just arrived from work and parked his motor car when he heard the former soldier threatening members of his family.

Residents outside the house in Bryan’s Hill, Clarendon where ex-soldier Wilbert Pryce is said to have shot dead his mother-in-law Sunday night. Pryce is also accused of injuring his wife in the attack.
"When I bend down and look into the yard me see the man a walk around the yard with a gun in him hand and him a beat down the grille to the house," he added

Trembling with fear, Fearon said he made a desperate call to the police, but after more than one hour of trying to get help, he became frustrated and decided to venture to the home.

"I waited for a while, and then it look as if he left, and me start to walk down to the yard," Fearon said, adding that he, too, was attacked by the former soldier.

"While I was walking to the house, him come around, and me and him start to struggle, and him use the gun to hit me in the head," Fearon said, pointing to a bandage on his head. "While I was running me hear several shots. All me a

run me no know what was happening," said the obviously shaken Fearon, who told the Observer that he rushed to the Chapleton Police Station.

Bleeding and worrying for his life, Fearon said he was left disappointed with the response from the police, as they told him to go to the hospital but allegedly asked nothing about the incident.

A brother of the slain woman, who is also a member of the police force, said he was at work when he received a call from his sister that she was being attacked.

He said that he made a desperate attempt to alert police in the area and tried to get to the house.

"She called me on the phone and told me that he was outside. While she was talking to me I heard her scream out for help," said the policeman.

Yesterday, police investigators said they received reports that Pryce, after fleeing the community, went to another area where he was accused of raping a woman. - Jamaica Observer.

NATURE: Loving Mother Earth And Ending The Consumption Of Animals - Deepening Scandal In Europe As Horse Meat Has Been Found In Ikea Swedish Meatballs; The United Nations Advises "Stop Eating Meat And Save The Planet"; Will We All Stop Eating Meat By 2050?!

February 26, 2013 - EUROPE - Traces of horse have been found in meatballs labeled as beef and pork for Swedish global furniture giant Ikea, according to authorities in the Czech Republic. The horse meat was found in one-kilogram packs of frozen meat balls made in Sweden and shipped to the Czech Republic for sale in Ikea stores there, the Czech State Veterinary Administration said.

It is the latest discovery in a deepening scandal over the discovery of horse meat in ready meals sold as beef in supermarkets in Ireland, the UK and other European countries. A total of 1,675 pounds of the meatballs were stopped from reaching the shelves. Ikea’s furniture stores feature restaurants and also sell food typical of the company’s home country, including the so-called Kottbullar meat balls.

It was not immediately clear whether Ikea exported the same product to other countries. Calls seeking comment from Ikea in Sweden were not immediately returned Monday. The Czech authority also found horse meat in beef burgers imported from Poland during random tests of food products.

Authorities across Europe have started doing random DNA checks after traces of horse meat turned up in frozen supermarket meals such as burgers and lasagna beginning last month. The European Union’s agriculture ministers gathered in Brussels Monday to discuss the widening scandal’s fallout, with some member states pressing for tougher rules to regain consumer confidence.

The 27-nation bloc must agree on binding origin disclosures for food product ingredients, starting with a better labeling of meat products, German agriculture minister Ilse Aigner said. “Consumers have every right to the greatest-possible transparency,” she insisted.

The scandal began in Ireland in mid-January when the country’s announced the results of its first-ever DNA tests on beef products. It tested frozen beef burgers taken from store shelves and found that more than a third of brands at five supermarkets contained at least a trace of horse. The sample of one brand sold by British supermarket kingpin Tesco was more than a quarter horse.

Such discoveries have spread like wildfire across Europe as governments, supermarkets, meat traders and processors began their own DNA testing of products labeled beef and have been forced to withdraw tens of millions of products from store shelves.

More than a dozen nations have detected horse flesh in processed products such as factory-made burger patties, lasagnas, meat pies and meat-filled pastas. The investigations have been complicated by elaborate supply chains involving multiple cross-border middlemen. - NBC News.

Will We All Stop Eating Meat By 2050?
It simply takes too much water to grow a steak. In a new report, leading water scientists say the human population would have to switch to an almost entirely vegetarian diet by 2050 to avoid catastrophic global food and water shortages. "There will not be enough water available … to produce food for the expected 9 billion population in 2050 if we follow current trends," Malin Falkenmark and colleagues at the Stockholm International Water Institute stated in the report. By their estimation, there should be just enough water to go around if humans derive just 5 percent of their calories from animal-based foods by midcentury, instead of the 20 percent of calories that they currently get from meat, eggs and dairy.

Photo: winn*/Flickr
It's a simple numbers game: Cattle, for example, consume a shocking 17 times more grain calories than they produce as meat calories. All that lost grain (which humans could have eaten) requires water. "Producing food requires more water than any other human activity — and meat production is very water-intensive," Josh Weinberg, the institute's communications officer, told Life's Little Mysteries. The fixed amount of water on Earth indicates people must reduce their meat consumption to avoid shortages. But with so many meat lovers around, will people actually do it?

They'll be forced to eat less meat, experts say. But not by government intervention or their own inner moral compasses. For most people, the choice between a juicy, medium-rare sirloin steak and a humble plateful of soybeans won't turn on which one is sucking wells dry in Texas. It will hinge on the contents of their wallets.

Rich food
In fact, meat eating is already on the decline in the United States. It reached its peak in 2007. According to Janet Larsen, director of research at the nonprofit Earth Policy Institute, Americans collectively consumed 55 billion pounds (25 billion kilograms) of meat that year. This year, consumption will total about 52 billion pounds (22 billion kg). Beef eating has dropped off the most.

One driver, Larsen said, is health; another is environmental concerns, because meat production contributes greatly to greenhouse gas emissions and thus global warming. But the primary reason meat-eating has fallen is the rising price of meat, especially beef, Larsen said. And that reflects the increasing price of the corn used to feed livestock.

"Incomes aren't rising nearly as fast as corn prices, and people end up filling their carts with less meat," Larsen told Life's Little Mysteries. She thinks the trend will continue. "We might go back to when Sunday night dinner was [the only time] when you had a chicken on the table." In the past two years, corn prices have been driven up in the United States by droughts across the Southern Plains — a palpable demonstration that water is the ultimate deciding factor in the availability of meat. A fixed amount of water paired with a growing world population means something has to give (or if not give, at least become a luxury). And that something is meat eating.

"When you look at the absolute numbers of people on the planet and the amount of food that we're producing, you ask the age-old question: How many people can Earth support? We look at the question from the perspective of food-intake levels," Larsen said. "People in India eat very little meat, so they consume about 200 kilograms [441 pounds] of grain per person each year. At that level of consumption, our total grain harvest could support 10 billion people on the planet. In the U.S., people are eating closer to 800 kilograms [1,768 pounds] of grain, and that's because much of our grain is being consumed indirectly through livestock. At that level, we could only support a world population of closer to 6 billion or less."

Humans stand at 7 billion strong partly because most people consume a fraction of the grain that Americans do. As the population presses upward, placing ever greater demand on the grain supply, fewer people will be able to afford the large quantity of grain that goes into each pound of meat. Wealthy populations will import grain to support their meat-eating, but at great cost. Beef will probably end up as the priciest meat of all, Larsen said. In fact, although people in China, India and other rapidly modernizing countries are eating more meat, beef production is already leveling off globally, according to Larsen. "I don't think that the world will be able to produce much more beef," she said. Cows just eat too much.

Ruminating cows
"Not all animal-based foods are created equal," said Gidon Eshel, a statistician at Bard College in upstate New York who studies the energy cost of various agricultural practices. "Certainly beef is a huge contributor to unchecked water consumption that is hard to imagine continuing." Eshel's research shows that beef has a "conversion efficiency" of just 6 percent: "So if you give a cow 100 calories of feed, it will produce 6 edible beef calories," he said. Chicken and turkey are four times more efficient, and pork falls in between poultry and beef. [How Much Water Is Used to Grow a Hamburger?] The low conversion efficiency of the cow is partly due to its digestion, which starts in the rumen. "A ruminant supports itself as well as a couple trillion protozoa and fungi and unicellular organisms that also make a living in its rumen," Eshel said.

"We humans also have a ridiculous amount of bacteria, but it is unique that for [cows and other ruminants] the bulk of those hitchhikers are involved in digestion — they mostly live in that oxygen-free chamber called the rumen." In this symbiotic relationship, the bacteria break down cell walls in plant matter and extract the useful material, some of which gets offered up to the host cow, and some of which they use for their own metabolism, Eshel said. "Without them, cows would be no more competent at digesting ruffage than we are."
Considering how much grain cows require to satisfy both themselves and their hangers-on, Eshel thinks beef is still pretty cheap. (In the United States, it's cheap enough to contribute to the obesity epidemic, he noted.) This is bound to change, whether the passionate meat lovers of the world like it or not. "I assume the ranks of 'passionate meat eaters' will thin dramatically," he said, "once it is expensive." - MNN.

The United Nations has urged people to stop eating meat in order to save the planet.

"Stop Eating Meat And Save The Planet" Says United Nations.
Experts urged westerners to become "demi-tarians" by halving the amount of meat they eat.  A report for the UN Environment Programme said that  pollution from fertilisers is threatening human health and the environment by causing phenomena such as toxic algal blooms.  It said that  80 per cent of the nitrogen and phosphorus used in fertilisers is consumed by livestock because it is used to grow the crops they eat.  The scientists, led by Professor Mark Sutton of the UK's Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, said  eating smaller portions or having meat every other day would help slash pollution.  Europeans eat 35 per cent more protein than recommended by the World Health Organisation while Americans overeat it by 58 per cent - and most of it comes from meat.

Meanwhile regions such as Asia, and particularly, China, are increasingly eating meat as their economies develop.  Professor Mark Sutton, chairman of the International Nitrogen Initiative, said the West needs to set an example to help slow the world's growing reliance on meat.  He said: “To aim towards eating half of the amount of meat we are currently eating is a good starting point.  "We should aim to be demi-tarians - eating half the meat we have typically been eating."  We need to realise that over-eating is not healthy - not for the environment and not for ourselves.”

He added that this switch could reduce the risk of a repeat of the horsemeat scandal which has been triggered by long trans-continental supply chains.  He advocated a more local supply chain which would make it easier to trace where meat came from as well as reducing pollution.  He said: "If we eat meat less often, we might go for a higher quality product when we do."  Co-author Dr Bruna Grazzetti of the Universite Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, said:  "We need to reduce consumption of meat in countries were consumption is excessive compared  to recommendations for a healthy diet.  "It does not mean becoming vegetarians but, say, reducing the size of the portions of meat we eat or not eating meat every day."

The report says that humans have "massively altered" the natural flows of nitrogen, phosphorus and other nutrients.  It adds: "While this has had huge benefits for world food and energy production, it has caused a web of water and air pollution that is damaging human health, causing toxic algal blooms, killing fish, threatening sensitive eco-systems and contributing to climate change."  It set out a 10-point plan to reduce the pollution, including using nutrients more efficiently as well as cutting meat consumption.

With 60% of our daily intake of nutrients coming from animal products, experts have warned that pollution will continue to rise unless we stop our over consumption of meat.  The report was backed by Achim Steiner, United Nations Under-Secretary General and Executive Director, who said: “Whether we live in a part of the world with too much or too little nutrients, our daily decisions can make a difference.” - Express.
