PARADIGM SHIFT & THE AGE OF OBAMA: The Precursors To The End Of The United States Corporation And The White Supremacy Paradigm - Muslim Judge Swears Oath On Koran Instead Of Bible In New York And The First US Town With Majority Muslim City Council Unites Around Diversity! [VIDEOS]

Carolyn Walker-Diallo was sworn in on the Koran, as a civil judge at the Brooklyn Burough Hall, New York.

There's a battle outside and it is ragin'. It'll soon shake your windows and rattle your walls... The order is rapidly fadin'. And the first one now, will later be last. For the times they are a-changin'.
- Bob Dylan, The Times They Are A-Changin'

December 16, 2015 - UNITED STATES - Reacting to news that a New York judge — who is a practicing Muslim — took her oath of office using the Koran, commenters flooded a Facebook announcement, calling it an “abomination” and saying she should be arrested.

Following her election last month, Carolyn Walker-Diallo was sworn in as a civil judge for the 7th Municipal District in a Brooklyn Borough hall last Thursday. She chose to take her oath using a Koran instead of a Bible.

After video of the New York Law School graduate was posted online by community activist and litigator Mohammed Mujumder, enraged commenters swarmed his Facebook page to express their outrage, with one writing, “Another piece of shit Muslim. Trying to take over this country.”

Mixed in with racist memes accusing President Barack Obama of being a Muslim were concerns that Walker-Diallo might institute Sharia law from her East New York City bench.

“How is using anything other than the holy bible to be sworn in acceptable?” wrote Randy Helms, with Andrew Green adding, “Absolutely disgusting. What a shame and pitiful place New York has become.”

Ray Ivy wrote: “That is so sick, she should be arrested for that,” setting off more commenters. Others wrote, “This is a sad day for America!” and “Makes me sick.”

Linda Brice Burleson took a stab at being reasonable, adding: “In thinking about this, I believe it is foolish for Muslims to be in positions of authority. It’s just asking for trouble; but there is no point in swearing them in on Bibles, since the Bible means nothing to them. Unfortunately, their holy book tells them it is okay to say and do whatever furthers the cause of Islam,” before Terrie cut to the chase with, “Just a short time before Sharia law is implemented. What idiots allow this”

Simon Shears predicted doom: “This is but one of the many signs that unless we do something, anything, not just our way of life but our lives will be put to an end…” while Tom Horne went into more detail, writing: “Those who have never served our country have no idea what their freedom is, it is a fragile thing and they are working to overthrow us from the inside and out. It is one thing to be kind it is another to be foolish, when they are holding you about to chop off your head I would like nothing more then to hear your opinion at that time. You hear and read information spoon-fed to you threw them media from our government – it will not be long in all of you soft headed people will scream and moan and cry out to God but he will not hear you.”

Robert P. Schwartz had a question: “What happened to the AMERICAN TRADITION OF A BIBLE ??????????????????????????” before Ben Mussellman added, “Burn this book and wipe your ass with it what a trader.”

Not all comments were critical, with several people pointing out that government officials should be taking their oath of office on a copy of the Constitution instead of the Bible or the Koran. - Raw Story.

1st US town with majority Muslim city council unites around diversity

Residents of Hamtramck, Michigan elected four Muslims to their city council, making history in a city that once was 90 percent Polish. Some sense a divide in the community, but about 100 people gathered near City Hall this week to unite in diversity.

RT’s Alexey Yaroshevsky traveled to Hamtramck (pronounced “ham-tram-ik”) to see whether the anti-Muslim sentiments resonated. Despite some graffiti and other small-scale incidents leading up to the election, the city councilmen did not mention any hindrances on their path to victory.

“Our major thing in the plan was to target everyone in Hamtramck, Muslims or non-Muslims, so we knocked all the doors in Hamtramck, and we asked for everyone in Hamtramck to vote for us regardless of their religion, ethnicity, or their color of skin,” Saad Almasmari, the top vote-winning city councilman said.

WATCH: US's first city with Muslim majority council.

“We work with everybody, we help everybody, and we cooperate with everybody in other religions. So, no question, and there is no problem,” Councilman Mohammed Hassan said.

“We are doing something better that people are moving to Hamtramck, that feel more secure and better life,” Councilman Abu Musa said.

Although Hamtramck now has a majority Muslim City Council – three Bangladeshis and one Yemeni –it’s still hard to call the city’s population of about 24,000 majority Muslims, since there is no religious census information available. However, recent US Census statistics show a diverse community – 24 percent of residents are Arab, mostly Yemeni; 15 percent are Bangladeshi; while six percent are Yugoslavian, many Bosnian. That group is made up of Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists, among others. About 19 percent of Hamtramck is African American and 12 percent is Polish.

Mayor Karen Majewski empathizes with her fellow Poles, telling The Washington Post, “There’s definitely a strong feeling that Muslims are the other. It’s about culture, what kind of place Hamtramck will become. There’s definitely a fear and to some degree, I share it.”

Majewski also told CNN, “No, I’m not afraid,” of the city’s large Muslim population.

Bangladeshi business owner Shaker Sadeak told RT, “Because it’s a small, tight-knit community, everybody know each other, and I don’t believe there is Islamophobia in Hamtramck.”

Chester Kasprzak, owner of Hamtramck Drugs, said everyone is “concerned about terrorism, but I feel completely safe here in Hamtramck, without any kind of— no fear at all.”

Bill Meyer, an activist with One Hamtramck, explained one of the societal elements at play for some adjusting to the Muslim culture.

“We were known for having more bars per acre in this city than any other place in the country, and Muslims don’t drink. Muslims don’t,” Meyer told RT. “So, that right there is a cultural shock for people who have always drunk and always partied and did all this stuff, and now they see people being peaceful and quiet and walking around, no crime, no swearing, none of that kind of — it’s a culture shock.” - RT.

GLOBAL VOLCANISM: Another Phase Of Strong, Increase Activity At Guatemala's Fuego Volcano - Intense And More Frequent Explosions As New Lava Flows!

December 16, 2015 - GUATEMALA - Another phase of strong, increased activity was observed at the Fuego volcano, Guatemala on December 14, 2015, Volcano Discovery reported. Frequent, intense explosions and ash plumes accompanied with loud shock waves marked the 13th paroxysmal episode of the 2015 volcano activity.

Two new lava flows were observed at the Fuego volcano, accompanying intense and frequent explosions on the evening of December 14 (local time).

Between 4 and 6 explosions per hour were reported with ash plumes, followed by loud shock waves, rising up to 1 km (3 280.8 feet) above the volcano summit. New lava flows were 800 m (2 624.7 feet) long and have started to head towards the Santa Teresa on west flank, and Trinidad on south flank drainages.

The reported event is the 13th paroxysmal episode of this year, and should the activity of the volcano increase further, dangerous pyroclastic flows could take place over the coming hours or days. Residents have been advised to avoid the river beds and valleys at the feet of the mountain at all times.

INSIVUMEH reported that on November 29, 2015 activity at Fuego increased significantly, characterized by large and strong explosions, ash plumes, and lava flows. Ash plumes rose as high as 2.2 km (7 217.8 feet) above the crater and drifted 40 km (24.9 miles) W and SW. Lava fountains rose 500 m (1 640.4 feet) above the crater, feeding four lava flows that traveled 3-4 km (1.9-2.5 miles) down the Ceniza, Trinidad, Las Lajas, and Santa Teresa drainages.

Ash fell in Panimache I and II (8 km (5 miles) SW), Morelia (9 km (5.6 miles) SW), Santa Sofía (12 km (7.5 miles) SW), El Porvenir (8 km (5 miles) ENE), Yucales (12 km (7.5 miles) SW), Rochelle, Ceylon, and other neighboring communities. Activity declined on November 30; lava fountains rose 100-150 m (328-492.1 feet), and ash plumes rose 1 km (0.62 miles) and drifted 25 km (15.5 miles) WSW. Lava flows were active in five drainages, including the Honda drainage (E flank).

On December 1, weak-to-moderate explosions generated ash plumes that rose 400-800 m (1 312.3-2624.7 feet) and drifted 10-12 km (6.2-7.5 miles) W and SW. Lava fountains continued rising as high as 150 m (492.1 feet). The five lava flows were at most 3 km (1.9 miles) long, and small pyroclastic flows descended the Honda drainage.

Geological summary

Volcán Fuego, one of Central America's most active volcanoes, is one of three large stratovolcanoes overlooking Guatemala's former capital, Antigua. The scarp of an older edifice, Meseta, lies between 3 763 m (12 345.8 feet high Fuego and its twin volcano to the north, Acatenango. Construction of Meseta dates back to about 230 000 years and continued until the late Pleistocene or early Holocene. Collapse of Meseta may have produced the massive Escuintla debris-avalanche deposit, which extends about 50 km (31 miles) onto the Pacific coastal plain.

Growth of the modern Fuego volcano followed, continuing the southward migration of volcanism that began at Acatenango. In contrast to the mostly andesitic Acatenango, eruptions at Fuego have become more mafic with time, and most historical activity has produced basaltic rocks. Frequent vigorous historical eruptions have been recorded since the onset of the Spanish era in 1524, and have produced major ash falls, along with occasional pyroclastic flows and lava flows. - The Watchers.

ANIMAL BEHAVIOR: Migratory Patterns And Disaster Precursors - Great White Shark Attacks Fisherman On Boat In New South Wales, Australia?!

December 16, 2015 - AUSTRALIA - Two NSW fishermen have had a harrowing encounter with one of earth's biggest ocean predators, with their boat bearing the chomp marks to prove it.

Stephen Crust, 63, and son Andrew Crust, 36, were fishing on Sunday (13 December) when a white pointer at least half the length of their boat attacked, supposedly unprovoked, prompting fears for local residents.

The "bloody big" beast bit and repeatedly rammed the craft with its head near Pulbah Island in Lake Macquarie, NSW, the son told The Central Coast Gosford Express Advocate.

"It was big enough to take an arm off or even kill you," Andrew Crust said. "And it kept coming back rocking the boat, giving it a bloody good shove.

"It's a bit of a worry if this shark is about when people are out skiing or doing anything on the water."

The frightened duo managed to capture video and photographic evidence of the attack. One of the photos shows a shark chewing on on the boat's motor and another, taken after the incident, seems to show the scratch marks it left.

The father, Stephen Crust, said he managed to hook the shark with his rod during the attack, and tried to reel it in for 30 minutes, but it lived to bite another day.

DELUGE & GEOLOGICAL UPHEAVALS: Relentless Rain Storms - Massive Floods And Sinkholes Close Roads In Washington; Emergency Declared In Grays Harbor County!

A sink hole that developed on South Bank Road south of Elma may take the county several weeks to repair. The sink hole comes right up to the road,
leaving about a 20-foot drop-off from the shoulder, said County Engineer Russ Esses.  © Grays Harbor County

December 16, 2015 - WASHINGTON, UNITED STATES - County road crews have been busy over the last few days, repairing damage from relentless rain storms over the past week.

The county's main concern at this point is a portion of South Bank Road South of Elma just east of Lambert Road, where a failed pipe has caused a sinkhole that opened at the edge of the road, County Engineer Russ Esses told The Daily World Monday afternoon. He said the county called in a contractor to open up the damaged pipe and stem flooding caused by the pipe's failure, but until the Chehalis River level drops and repair work can commence, the road will remain closed.

There is a detour on local access roads, but Esses said it's not suitable for log truck traffic or heavy hauling.

"Right now, we're waiting for the river to drop," Esses said. "We're hoping ... to get the road open in the next few weeks."

How long the road will remain closed depends on how much of the existing pipe can be saved, he added.

"If all new pipe is needed, it could add time to the closure," Esses said.

A portion of Blue Slough Road between Cosmopolis and Montesano was also undermined a bit over the weekend, but Esses said that issue is not of nearly as much concern.

"This has been kind of an ongoing thing," he said.

County crews have applied a patch to the uneven road surface that developed, and will continue to apply patches to smooth out the road. Currently, stop signs are placed in both directions before the bump, but Esses said those will be removed as the road continues to be smoothed out by crews. The plan is then for a more permanent patch of the road to happen this summer.

"It's a little bit of wait and see," Esses said. "But it's behaving."

Earlier in the day, the Grays Harbor County Commissioners unanimously passed a resolution establishing a local declaration of emergency.

"We're thinking there's a good chance that with the declaration we'll be able to apply for federal dollars," Esses told The Vidette at the meeting.

Heavy rain and wind from two storm systems arriving Dec. 7 and Dec. 12 pounded the region over the last week.

More than 4 1/2 inches of rain fell on the Harbor during those five days, according to measurements taken at a weather station at Bowerman Field in Hoquiam. An inch of rain fell on the first day of the storm, and nearly an inch followed on both Dec. 10 and 12.

Wind accompanied the rain. On Dec. 6 there were sustained winds of 48 mph and gusts of 60 mph. Gusts around 50 mph were recorded on multiple days.

Flooding was reported countywide, including the Chehalis River in East County as well as Aberdeen near the former TOP Food grocery store and Walmart, and in Hoquiam on the Hoquiam River.

Much of remaining road closures listed on the county website are the result of water over the roadway, and Esses said that clearing those closures is merely a waiting game until water recedes. But as the water leaves, further road damage may surface.

"There was a cycle there for three or four storms, and it was fairly significant ...
with the Chehalis it was probably a five- or 10-year event," Esses said. As for the current weather calming down, "That gives the chance for the river to drop and things to dry out — and to get ready for the next one," he said. - Daily World.

SMOGEDDON: China's Pollution Apocalypse - Chinese Buy Up Bottles Of Fresh Air From Canada; Several Cities Are Barely Visible Under Thick Soup Of Smog; Red Alert Is Still In Effect!

December 16, 2015 - CHINA - A Canadian start-up company bottling fresh air from the Rocky Mountains has seen sales to China soar because of rising pollution levels.

Vitality Air was founded last year in the western Canadian city of Edmonton but began selling in China less than two months ago.

“Our first shipment of 500 bottles of fresh air were sold in four days,” co-founder Moses Lam says in a telephone interview with the Telegraph.

Looking for that unique ? We have what you need!
Twitter: Vitality Air

A crate containing 4,000 more bottles is making its way to China, but he says most of that shipment has been bought. A 7.7 Litre can of crisp air taken from Banff National Park in the majestic Rocky Mountains range sells for roughly 100 yuan (£10), which is 50 times more expensive than a bottle of mineral water in China.

Most of their customers live in big cities in the northeastern and southern parts of China where severe pollution warnings have become a common occurence.

State news agency Xinhua has posted a picture online of the city centre barely visible under a thick soup of smog on Tuesday and reflects local frustrations with the caption: “Heavy smog hit China, again!”

This comes just over a week after Beijing issued a red alert for pollution that forced half of the cars off the roads.

The Canadian company is not the first to sell fresh air to the Chinese.

Last year, Beijing artist Liang Kegang fetched the equivalent of £512 for a glass jar filled with air taken from a business trip in southern France.

In 2013, multimillionaire Chen Guangbiao sold pop-sized cans of air purportedly taken from less industrialised regions of China for 5 yuan (£0.50) each.

Vitality Air’s Mr Lam admits that he started out the company as a joke as well when he and co-founder Troy Paquette filled a plastic bag of air and sold it for less than 50 pence on the auction site Ebay.

A second bag sold for $160 (£105).

“That’s when we realised there is a market for this,” says Mr Lam.

Vitality Air sells bottled fresh air and oxygen across North America, to India and the Middle East. But China remains its biggest overseas market.

The company's China representative, Harrison Wang, says their customers are mainly affluent Chinese women who buy for their families or give away as gifts. But he says senior homes and even high end night clubs have also stocked up on their product.

“In China fresh air is a luxury, something so precious,” says Mr Wang.

He says a number of distributors have contacted them to sell their products.

Vitality Air’s biggest challenge is to keep up with demand because each bottle of fresh air is filled by hand.

“It’s very labour intensive but we also wanted to make it a very unique and fun product,” says co-founder Mr Lam.

“We may have bit off more than we can chew.”

The growing orders have been a pleasant surprise for him since his friends and family initially mocked the idea of selling something that most Canadians take for granted.

“My parents told me not to quit my day time job,” he says.

So far, Mr Lam has heeded this advice and still holds a bank job in Canada. - Telegraph.

PARADIGM SHIFT & THE AGE OF PUTIN: "We See Syria Fundamentally Very Similarly" - Russia And The United States Agree On Critical Issues!

Russian President Vladimir Putin (R) welcomes U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry during a meeting at the Kremlin in Moscow, Russia December 15, 2015.

December 16, 2015 - RUSSIA
- Russia and the US have agreed on a number of ‘critical’ issues, particularly with regard to Syria, US Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said following talks in Moscow.

“The US stands ready to work with Russia,” Kerry told journalists after meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Lavrov on Tuesday. He added that the two countries’ officials had “a productive day” and the discussions had been “constructive.”

“Despite our countries’ differences, we demonstrated that when the United States and Russia pull together in the same direction, progress can be made,” Kerry said.

Calling the effort “good diplomacy,” the top US diplomat said that the whole global community benefits from such cooperation.

Moscow and Washington confirmed their previous agreements to work together to fight “the evil” of Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) in Syria, Lavrov told journalists, adding that some “practical steps” to advance this effort had been agreed upon at the meeting.

“We confirmed the agreements reached by the Russian and US militaries, including the agreements that also apply to the US-led coalition working against ISIL, and in practical terms agreed on some further steps which will help make our parallel work more coordinated and effective,” the Russian foreign minister said.

"We see Syria fundamentally very similarly, we want the same outcomes, we see the same dangers, we understand the same challenges," Kerry said. He added that the two nations have been “honest with differences,” but in general agree that the crisis in the Middle Eastern country “requires political process.”

“Russia and the United States agree that you can't defeat Daesh without also de-escalating the fight in Syria,” the Secretary of State said, adding that both Moscow and Washington are “focused on political process” and that “Syrians will be making decisions on the future of Syria.”

WATCH: "No isolation for Russia, world is better when we cooperate." - US Sec of State Kerry in Moscow.

Kerry also said that Moscow and Washington have found “common ground” on which opposition groups should participate in the Syrian peace talks.

RT’s Ilya Petrenko confronted Kerry with a question asking him about threats to isolate Russia, which were repeatedly voiced by Washington in the past. The head of the US State Department replied that there was no such US policy in place.

“We don’t seek to isolate Russia as a matter of policy,” Kerry said. “But we have consistently said that the world is better off when Russia and the US find common ground and an ability to be able to work together.”

Meanwhile, Lavrov has confirmed that a meeting of world powers on Syria penciled in for New York on Friday would go ahead.

A project for a resolution on Syria is expected to be ready for presentation to the UN Security Council after Friday’s meeting, Lavrov said.

“We met here today not as Russia and the US behind the back of other members of the international group on Syrian support, but as co-chairs of this group,” Lavrov said, adding that only an “inclusive format” and the collective efforts of all the members of the Syria group can lead to success in solving the crisis in the region.

Russia and the US are seeking solutions to the most critical crises together, Putin said earlier at the start of the meeting, adding that he "is happy for the opportunity to meet and talk."

“Today you’ve had comprehensive talks at Russia’s Foreign Ministry,” Putin said to Kerry, referring to an earlier meeting with Lavrov. “Minister Lavrov has reported to me in detail on your proposals and on some issues that require additional discussions. I'm very happy with the opportunity to meet with you and talk."

‘Good discussion about Ukraine’

The crisis in Ukraine was also on the agenda, with both Russian and US officials reiterating their support for the Minsk agreements.

“There are concrete ideas on how to most actively implement” the peace deal in the region, Lavrov said, adding that Moscow hopes to remain in close contact with its US partners concerning the matter.

When obligations stated in the accord are met, “US and EU sanctions can be rolled back,” Kerry said, adding that he had had “a good discussion about Ukraine” with President Putin.

“It is always better to be able to sit down in person and spend the significant amount of time that we were able to do today to hash out details and not feel the pressure of another meeting at a multi-level event,” the top US diplomat told reporters after more than three and a half hours of talks with Putin and Lavrov, after thanking them “for the amount of time both of them have afforded.”

US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland, the White House National Security Council's senior director for Russia Celeste Wallander and US Ambassador to Russia John Tefft were also present at the Kremlin meeting. On Russia's side, Sergey Lavrov and Putin's aide Yury Ushakov also attended.

This year, Kerry has already paid a visit to Putin in Russia. In May, the two met at the Russian president's Sochi residence. That meeting was originally planned for some 90 minutes, but lasted for over four hours.

Prior to the Kremlin meeting, Kerry was spotted wandering along the tourist hot-spot Arbat Street in central Moscow. The US Secretary of State did some souvenir shopping and was warmly welcomed by locals and fellow visitors who recognized him in the street. “I want to wish that the Russian people and the American people are good friends and that our countries come together in peace,” Kerry said when chatting to a group of people. - RT.

NEW WORLD DISORDER: Terrorism, False Flag Distractions, Societal Collapse, Wars And Civilizations Unraveling Ahead Of The Black Celestial Event - Saudi Arabia Forms 34-State Global Islamic Military Alliance, To Fight Terrorism!

December 16, 2015 - SAUDI ARABIA - A Riyadh-based “Islamic military alliance” has been formed to fight terrorism, Saudi Arabian state TV has announced. The coalition consists of 34 countries, including the Gulf States, a number of African countries, Turkey, Egypt, Malaysia and Pakistan.

The new alliance’s initiatives could potentially include troops on the ground, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir told reporters at a briefing in Paris on Tuesday.

There are discussions [among] countries that are currently part of the coalition [like] Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain about sending in some special forces into Syria,” Adel al-Jubeir said, as cited by Reuters.

Nothing is off the table,” the minister said, adding that “it depends on the requests that come” and that the picture should become clearer within the next few weeks.

Countries involved in the coalition aside from Saudi Arabia, include Jordan, the UAE, Pakistan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Benin, Turkey, Chad, Togo, Tunisia, Djibouti, Senegal, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Gabon, Guinea, the partially-recognized state of Palestine, the Islamic Federal Republic of the Comoros, Qatar, Cote d’Ivoire, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Maldives, Mali, Malaysia, Egypt, Morocco, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Yemen.

“The countries here mentioned have decided on the formation of a military alliance led by Saudi Arabia to fight terrorism, with a joint operations centre based in Riyadh to coordinate and support military operations,”
state news agency SPA quoted an official statement as saying.

The statement added that the coalition has “a duty to protect the Islamic nation from the evils of all terrorist groups and organizations whatever their sect and name which wreak death and corruption on earth and aim to terrorise the innocent,” Reuters quotes.

The coalition’s headquarters will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital.

Currently, there are a number of active coalitions fighting terror groups such as Islamic State (IS, Daesh, formerly ISIS/ISIL) in Syria and Iraq.

The US-led coalition has gathered the support of at least 65 countries. However, various media reports have claimed that fewer than a dozen states are actually contributing, with American jets carrying out most of the strikes.

Moreover, the coalition has received international criticism for being ineffective. “We can state the [US-led] coalition is simulating the fight against ISIS and real terrorism and acts on its own politicized approach to the situation, which runs counter to international law, at least in Syria. Now we can see that [this happens] not only in this country. As is known, the inactivity of the actions of the [US-led] coalition was distinctly confirmed by the growing ISIS problem,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said last week.

The US-led coalition’s airstrikes in Syria have never received permission from Syrian President Bashar Assad to enter the country’s airspace.

Meanwhile, Russia has been conducting its own airstrikes targeting IS and other terrorist groups in Syria since September 30. The strikes were launched at the formal request of Damascus. Russian jets have been carrying out sorties from Moscow’s Hmeimim Air Base in Latakia.

The Russian-led operation also involves coordinating its efforts with regional governments, including those of Syria, Iran and Iraq, which is known as the RSII coalition.

Russia has been calling for a global coalition to fight IS. Russian President Vladimir Putin said in November he wanted global cooperation to combat terrorism. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has echoed Putin’s words, stressing that countries with large Muslim populations, Russia among them, should team up against the terrorist groups.

Meanwhile, a Saudi-led coalition has been bombing Yemen as part of a campaign against the Houthi rebels that ousted president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi. The latest statement from the coalition said a ceasefire is due to be established Tuesday. “The command of the coalition forces announces a ceasefire as of 12 pm Sanaa time ... while retaining the right to respond to any breach of the ceasefire,” the Saudi state news agency SPA quoted.Saudi Arabia has been carrying out assaults on the Houthis, who continue to hold the Yemeni capital of Sanaa. The conflict has created an emergency situation, with UN agencies raising alarms that millions of Yemenis are in mortal danger of starvation. Nearly 6,000 people have been killed in the Saudi-led airstrikes and fighting. - RT.

A Sydney suburb was labeled a disaster zone after a tornado ripped through its southern beaches with golf-sized hail stones and rattling winds that caused tremendous damage to the neighborhood.

One of the biggest evacuations took place at the desalination plant in Kurnell. Staff was told to leave the Caltex refinery immediately, after it suffered significant damage from the storm. Part of the roof collapsed at the Shoppers at Westfield mall in Bondi Junction, causing flooding and forcing quick evacuations. The major shopping center remains closed.

"There is flooding and people are being moved out of the mall," Conor McGuinness told The Australian. Flights are being delayed at Sydney's airport, according to an airport spokeswoman.

In another shocking moment, a palm tree caught fire when it was struck by lightning in Sydney.

Some of the photos posted online show flipped and damaged cars, as well as flooded streets with random objects blown by the winds. Social media users had posted pictures of ominous-looking dark grey clouds, resembling movie scenes from the end of the world, prior to the storm lashing out.

The freakishly strong winds have now moved offshore from Bondi Beach, according to the Bureau of Meteorology. However, a severe thunderstorm warning is still in effect for parts of Sydney and New South Wales.

SIGNS IN THE HEAVENS: Weather Phenomenon - Colorful "Mother Of Pearl" Cloud Appears In Swedish Skies!

December 16, 2015 - SWEDEN - This fantastic colorful nacreous cloud appeared in the sky of Abisco, Sweden on December 14, 2015.

Mother of pearl clouds are a kind of polar stratospheric clouds that float through the stratosphere (25 km above Earth surface) and they are fantastically colorful.

These rare colorful clouds form in the lower stratosphere when temperatures drop to around minus 85ºC.

The iridescent colors appearing in the clouds are the result of diffraction and interference of sunlight shining through tiny ice particles ~10µm across.

Nacreous clouds far outshine and have much more vivid colours than ordinary iridescent clouds.

However, some polar stratospheric clouds are linked to the destruction of ozone. - Strange Sounds.
