January 18, 2013 - JAPAN - The very first troublesome sign of the UFO crash off the coast of Okinawa has finally arrived. Millions of dead fish, estimated at over fifty tons, have washed up along the shore of the Japanese island. Some of the dead fish showed signs of severe burns and bleeding through their eyes.  The Japanese Prime Minister, Yoshihiko Noda, has signed an executive order restricting Japanese media from covering the UFO crash. Several news agencies based in the Pacific nation have quietly filed numerous protests with the Prime Minister’s office. They have yet to receive any comment as of this morning, Inothernewz.com has learned.  Inothernewz.com is one of the very few international news agencies covering this reported UFO crash and we have been able to cultivate a source deep inside the Japanese government who has direct knowledge of the proceedings off Okinawa. “I can confirm to you the dead fish appearing on Okinawa’s coast is a direct result of the UFO crash,” said the source. “We have scientists stationed on the JS Kurama, the vessel at sea responsible for bringing the spacecraft up to the surface, and they have informed the Prime Minister they believe a strange substance is oozing from the damaged ship and causing noxious fumes to rise to the surface. Not only is it killing any surrounding fish in the immediate vicinity but the fumes are making it difficult for the salvage crew aboard the ship to breath. The salvage operation has been halted for several hours due to this new development. The scientists fear a new and very dangerous alien chemical is infiltrating the seas and thus killing sea life.”  Meanwhile, back on Okinawa, several residents seemed astonished by the sight of millions of dead fish showing up on their ordinarily pristine shores.  “I would not have believed this had I not seen it with my own two eyes,” said Tsutomu Irabu, a 57 year old fisherman. “I’ve never seen anything like this in my entire life. The rotting smell is quite disorientating.”

They've been reported by astronomers going back to the 1700s. Strange things seen by the scientists of centuries past included mysterious bright lights or glowing spots on the moon. Other observers, including Hugh Percy Wilkins of the British Astronomical Association, confirmed O'Neill's sighting on the lunar surface. The object that became known as O'Neill's Bridge, was eventually thought to be nothing more than a combination of lights and shadows. Following extensive lab work in the United Kingdom and Sri Lanka four scientists in a paper said , “We report the discovery for the first time of fossilized diatoms in a carbonaceous meteorite that fell on 29 December 2012”. Diatoms are a variety of algae. They very firmly said contamination, a hazard scientists face when examining things fallen from the sky on the ground is excluded in the meteorite they have named Polonnaruwa. The four scientists, Chandra Wickramasinghe, J. Wallis, D.H.Wallis, and Anil Samaranayaka said, there are also structures in the meteorite similar to the red rain cells that fell within days in the area. The team in a paper to be published in the Journal of Cosmology added, “The new data on fossil diatom provide strong evidence to support the theory of Cometary Panspermia” -a theory that says life came to our planet earth and other worlds hitchhiking on comets from far corners of the universe.

The leader of the team, Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe from the Buckingham Center for Astrobiology in UK told this correspondent, “”I think the discovery of an unequivocal microbial structure such as a diatom deeply trapped in the rock matrix proves beyond doubt that this life existed in the parent comet from which the meteorite was derived. The highly intricate and woven patterns on the outer shells of diatoms are impossible to generate by any other process than biology. This could ultimately turn out to be the most important scientific discovery in 500 years. The cosmic ancestry of humans becomes ever more securely established.” “People might try to say that what we found were terrestrial contaminants. Contamination after landing on Earth is ruled out absolutely because of the way the diatoms are woven between the rock matrix. In any case we found many diatom types that are not known to be present on the soil where the meteorite landed.” The scientists said minutes after a large fire ball seen by a large number of people in Sri Lanka on 29 December 2012 a large meteorite disintegrated and fell in the village of Araganwila located few miles away from the historic city of Polonnaruwa. At the time of entry into the earth’s atmosphere on 29 December 2012 the parent body of the Polonnaruwa meteorite would have had most of its interior porous volume filled with water , volatile organics and possibly viable living cells. The scientists said a remarkable coincidence was the red rain.

They said the red rain analyzed at the Medical Research Institute in Colombo contained red biological cells that show spontaneous movement and the ability of reproducing. Abnormally high in arsenic and silver they are connected to a non territorial habitat , possibly connected with a cometary asteroidal body. The four scientists said the Polonnaruwa meteorite was a result of a fragmentation of such a body. The electron microscopic studies of the Polonnaruwa meteorite had been done at the School of Earth Sciences of the Cardiff University, in the United Kingdom. The scientists said in the meteorite microfossils rather than living cells were seen . The scientists said in the meteorite the donut shaped structure seen has a striking similarity to Kerala red rain cells and the cells contained in the red rain that followed the meteorite fall in the Polonnaruwa area. The scientists said contamination is decisively ruled out in the meteorite since the structure is deemed to be fossilized and fossil diatoms were not present on the surface of the ground where it fell.The scientists said , contamination is excluded by the circumstance that the elemental abundances within the structures match closely with those of the surrounding matrix. There is also evidence of structures morphologically similar to red rain cells that may have contributed to the episode of red rain that followed within days of the meteorite fall. They said , “We conclude therefore identification of the fossilized diatom of the Polonnaruwa meteorite is firmly established and unimpeachable.” They also said,” Since this meteorite is considered to be an extinct cometary fragment , the idea of microbial life carried within comets and the theory of cometary panspermia is vindicated.” The paper said , “The universe , not humans must have the final say to declare what the world is really like.” - Lanka Web.

UFO SIGHTINGS: Strange Objects Seen Flying Near The International Space Station?!

January 14, 2013 - SPACE - As 2012 ended and 2013 began, numerous UFOs were reported around the country -- nothing earth-shattering there -- but what about alleged unidentified objects seen in space near the International Space Station (or ISS), a couple of hundred miles above Earth? 

This composite image shows four different times that alleged UFO were photographed above Earth by either space shuttles or the International Space Station. The big question is whether or not they are truly unidentified objects or if they are more likely reflections from spacecraft windows, meteors or fast-moving spacecraft-generated debris.

Videos have cropped up on YouTube showing images taken by NASA cameras of objects of different shapes, some moving very slowly, others rapidly hurtling through space.  What, exactly, are we looking at here? Alien spacecraft dropping by for a visit with the ISS? Reflections from ISS windows? Meteors? Or various types of orbiting or fast moving spacecraft-generated debris?  On Christmas Day, YouTube poster Streetcap1 recorded video of a silvery object, moving slowly near the curvature of Earth. At :46 into the following video, the object can be seen in faraway perspective.

"Spacecraft-generated 'dandruff' has been seen since the very first human spaceflights, when the non-intuitive relative motions and impossible-to-judge distances in the earthly environment of outer space tricked observers into misinterpreting visual stimuli," according to James Oberg, a former space engineer who specialized in NASA space shuttle operations and is currently the NBC News Space Consultant.  "It shouldn't be surprising that only half a century later, most folks watching YouTube videos are still totally flummoxed by what they understandably and excusably can't comprehend," Oberg told The Huffington Post in an email.  Oberg doesn't give much credence to any speculation that unidentified flying objects near the ISS originate from an alien civilization. But he also feels it's important for people to keep looking at camera feeds which may result in visual information that can help prevent potential technical problems for the ISS.  "It's good to keep scanning space video for possible anomalies and reporting them quickly," Oberg said. "The reason is, there is always a real chance that it could be a genuine anomaly, either a spacecraft malfunction or other threat, expected or unexpected. UFO SIGHTINGS: Mysterious Lights Reported In Skies Over Yankton Area, South Dakota?!

January 10, 2013 - UNITED STATES - A resident just west of Yankton claims he has seen unexplained lights in the sky on multiple recent nights.  A male resident along Rainbow Street in Riverside Acres reported to the Yankton County Sheriff’s Office at 8:40 p.m. Friday that he had observed an unknown object in the sky.  Sheriff Jim Vlahakis said two of his deputies subsequently observed the light and believed it to be a satellite or, more likely, an airplane due to the flashing red light common on all aircraft.  A message was left by the Press & Dakotan at the residence of the individual who reported the light, but it was not returned by press time.  According to Jim Klancnik, the state director for the Mutual UFO Network, Inc. (MUFON) who resides in Spearfish Canyon, the same individual submitted a report to the organization’s public UFO case files Sunday. MUFON is a Greeley, Colo.-based organization dedicated to the study of unexplained flying objects.  In the report, the man said he was outside around 10:15 p.m. Jan. 3 when he noticed what looked like police lights in the sky to the south of his location.

 “The part of the sky I was looking at is a pretty busy flight path,” the report states. “On any day at any time of the day, I see planes and, especially, helicopters flying by, usually flying (northeast). This was definitely not a plane or helicopter.”  While watching the light, the man said a smaller object appeared to fly out of and away from it in parabolic curve toward the ground.  “As soon as object #2 disappeared behind background trees and houses I heard a herd of cows about a mile away freak out briefly,” the report reads. “Nothing really happened; no cows were harmed and the diving craft didn’t crash.”  Looking around, he said about four more similar lights were observed.  On Friday night, the man said he saw about six of them. Approximately 11 lights were spotted around 1 a.m. Saturday night.  As the report was being written around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, the witness said they were directly overhead.  “I can see the shape of it (maybe triangle or stealth fighter shape),” he states.

“There are no military bases around here or anything else that should bring so much aircraft other than the usual traffic of private planes, crop duster planes and medical helicopters.”  The sheriff’s office has received no other reports of strange aerial activity.  MUFON allows photos to be attached to the reports but none were submitted.  Klancnik said it’s not the first instance of a possible UFO sighting in the region in recent times.  “I’ve had about six different reports within 100 miles of Yankton of a lot of different UFO sightings,” he stated. “Most of them have to do with orange lights.”  For example, a witness reported May 17 of last year that two sets of orange orbs were spotted in the sky at Pickstown.  “They appeared only for a few seconds then disappeared,” the Pickstown report states. “I tried to get the images on my camera and it was unsuccessful. (Fifteen minutes) later a squadron of jet fighters circled the area and looked like they were sweeping the area around the (site). At first, we thought it was military training activities with flares. The more I thought about it, flares don’t stay stationary. Or do they?”  Klancnik said he planned to conduct an interview with the witness in Yankton. January 08, 2013 - SPACE - Fifteen new planets have been discovered orbiting in the habitable zones of other stars by volunteers from the Oxford University-led Zooniverse project, adding to the 19 similar planets already discovered in habitable zones, where the temperature is neither too hot nor too cold for liquid water. The new finds suggest that there may be a 'traffic jam' of all kinds of strange worlds in regions that could potentially support life.

'There's an obsession with finding Earth-like planets but what we are discovering, with planets such as PH2 b, is far stranger,' said Zooniverse lead Dr Chris Lintott of Oxford University. 'Jupiter has several large water-rich moons - imagine dragging that system into the comfortably warm region where the Earth is. If such a planet had Earth size moons, we'd see not Europa and Callisto but worlds with rivers, lakes and all sorts of habitats - a surprising scenario that might just be common.' Rather than being seen directly, the new planet candidates were found by Planethunters.org volunteers looking for a telltale dip in the brightness as planets pass in front of their parent stars. One of the 15, a Jupiter-sized planet orbiting a Sun-like star, has been officially confirmed as a planet (with 99.9% certainty) after follow-up work with the Keck telescope in Hawai'i and has been named 'PH2 b'. It is the second confirmed planet to be found by Planethunters.org.

 'We are seeing the emergence of a new era in the Planet Hunters project where our volunteers seem to be at least as efficient as the computer algorithms at finding planets orbiting at habitable zone distances from the host stars," said Planethunters lead scientist Professor Debra Fisher of Yale University. "Now, the hunt is not just targeting any old exoplanet - volunteers are homing in on habitable worlds.'

Lead author Dr Ji Wang, also of Yale University, said: 'We can speculate that PH2 b might have a rocky moon that would be suitable for life. I can't wait for the day when astronomers report detecting signs of life on other worlds instead of just locating potentially habitable environments. That could happen any day now.'

 'These are planet candidates that slipped through the net, being missed by professional astronomers and rescued by volunteers in front of their web browsers," said Lintott." It's remarkable to think that absolutely anyone can discover a planet.' “In general, we have shown that we are not quite as unique as we once thought. Our solar system closely resembles other observable planetary systems within our galaxy. In this way, our results serve to corroborate other research results which indicate that earth-like planets are more widespread in the universe than previously believed,” says Professor Martin Bizzarro, head of the Centre for Star and Planet Formation at University of Copenhagen. "The lights appeared in formations of two or three at a time. They glowed orange but did not twinkle or flash," she said.  "They appeared to be moving quite quickly, from the north, east and west, and would travel for a few minutes and then disappear. They were not conventional aircraft, they moved in a linear fashion and were definitely not fireworks.  "We watched one that stopped in mid-air, turned white and appeared to stay in the same spot for approximately an hour. MASS UFO SIGHTINGS: UFO Alert in Cardwell, North Queensland - Silent Lights Phenomenon Hover Over Town?!

January 03, 2013 - AUSTRALIA - A tiny town in north Queensland is on full UFO alert following sightings of strange lights in the night sky. Cardwell businessman Greg Smith said he and his son watched the lights for 15 minutes and are convinced that what they saw was some sort of UFO.

"This was a couple of months ago. I used to be the world's biggest sceptic about this stuff, but I'll tell you what, this really rattled me and my son,'' he told The Townsville Bulletin. Mr Smith said they watched the lights from the front of the Lyndoch Motel on the highway towards the northern end of the town. "There were two large orange lights. There was no beam and no noise. It was absolutely silent and they were moving slowly across the sky towards the north-west. We couldn't tell if the lights were from one or two machines. At first we thought they were over buildings between the highway and the beach, but other people said they were just out over the water,'' he said.

Mr Smith said he thought it must have been one or two helicopters, but discounted the possibility due to the fact there was no noise. Another Cardwell resident, Phil Mulley and his wife Helen saw the lights on two consecutive nights. "We thought it was a chopper coming up the channel. We watched it for a few minutes and then it disappeared in cloud. The next night my sister rang me and said to look outside. I went and looked and there were two lights. We watched them for a while until they disappeared in cloud,'' he said. Mr Mulley said he knew of at least six or seven people who saw the lights. HIGH STRANGENESS: Huge Crop Circle Message For Extraterrestrials - Scientology Secret 'Alien Space Cathedral' Reportedly Revealed In New Mexico?!

January 02, 2013 - UNITED STATES - In the New Mexico desert lies an allegedly secret Scientology installation that includes a huge message for extraterrestrials - a crop circle-type design that can only easily be seen from high above the ground.

That's among the allegations set forth by BBC Panorama reporter John Sweeney in a new book, "Church of Fear: Inside the Weird World of Scientology," reports the New York Daily News. The controversial Church of Scientology -- which boasts celebrity members Tom Cruise, John Travolta, Kirstie Alley and Juliette Lewis -- was founded in 1952 by writer L. Ron Hubbard, and promotes the concept that humans are immortal beings with reincarnated souls. In his book, excerpted in The Sun, Sweeney writes that the two huge interlocking circles -- each of which has a large diamond shape inside -- were created as markers to guide special Scientologists "returning from space to find Mr. Hubbard's works after a nuclear Armageddon wipes out humanity."

Sweeney also reports that buried texts of Hubbard's teachings are included at the top secret New Mexico Scientology site. The BBC reporter tried to find "the space alien cathedral that ex-Scientologists say was built deep underground by the church in the 1980s at the cost of millions of dollars. "Its vault houses the lectures of Hubbard on gold discs locked in titanium caskets sealed with argon. The cathedral is H-bomb proof," Sweeney reports in his book. Sweeney went to the supposed site of the alien cathedral accompanied by former Scientologist Marc Headley. "Headley says he was 'audited' -- given spiritual counseling -- by Tom Cruise, Hollywood superstar and leading church member. Marc says he was also beaten up by the shadowy church's leader David Miscavige. The church denies both incidents," Sweeney alleged. "If I'm wrong about the church believing in aliens, then why have they built these giant symbols in the middle of the desert that can only be seen from outer space," Sweeney said, according to therawstory.com. - Huffington Post.

January 01, 2013 - UNITED STATES -The National UFO ALERT Rating System has been updated January 1, 2013, with California, Michigan, Florida and Texas moving to a UFO Alert 3 as the highest reporting states during the month of December 2012, filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON).

California was the leading high-reporting state in December with 75 cases, up from 53 cases in November, 83 cases in October, 69 cases filed in September and 75 in August.  Those states in a UFO Alert 4 category with 13 or more reports include: Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, New York, Indiana, Ohio, Arizona and Maryland.  All other states move to a UFO Alert 5 category with lower numbers of UFO activity. The Watch States - with 10 or more cases - are Colorado, New Jersey, Kentucky and Tennessee.  MUFON released December statistics January 1, where the total number of reported UFO sightings is listed by state. The UFO Examiner uses these statistics to rate states. The entire country was moved back to the lowest alert level - UFO Alert 5.  California takes the lead with 75 cases; Michigan, 45; Florida, 42; and Texas, 38 cases.

Those states with 13 or more reports, the next reporting tier level, are a UFO Alert 4 status: Pennsylvania, 22; Georgia, 20; North Carolina, 19; New York, 17; Indiana, 14; Ohio, 13; Arizona, 13; and Maryland, 13.  Our Watch States this month are - with 10 reports or more: Colorado, 11; New Jersey, 10; Kentucky, 10; and Tennessee, 10 cases.  The sphere remains the most-reported UFO shape with 158 December reports; down from 168 reports in November; 161 in October, 246 in September and 238 August reports. EXOPOLITICAL DISCLOSURE: From UFOs To "Tsunami Bomb" - New Zealand's National Archives Reveal Lots Of Secrets!

January 01, 2013 - NEW ZEALAND - A new book has revealed rare historical gems buried in New Zealand's national archives, including a bizarre WWII plan to create a "tsunami bomb" and military files detailing supposed UFO sightings.  Author Ray Waru said he wrote "Secrets and Treasures" to highlight the material publicly available at Archives New Zealand in Wellington -- where almost 100 kilometres (62 miles) of shelf space is crammed with historical artefacts.  "It was totally overwhelming at the beginning," he told AFP.  "I knew I wanted to get in the important things, the Treaty of Waitangi (New Zealand's founding document), the Declaration of Independence, the women's suffrage petition, and a few other things.  "But once you start digging, one story leads onto another and I'd just follow my nose." 

The suffrage petition Waru refers to contains 36,000 signatures and was dramatically unfurled on the floor of the New Zealand parliament in 1893 by supporters of women's right to vote.  Stretching for almost 300 metres (980 feet), the petition, currently undergoing restoration, proved successful and led New Zealand, then a British colony, to become the first country in the world to grant women the vote later that year.  Alongside notable historical documents, such as a letter written by explorer captain James Cook before his final voyage, are curiosities like "Project Seal", a top-secret US-New Zealand attempt to create a doomsday device to rival the nuclear bomb.  The project was launched in June 1944 after a US naval officer noticed that blasting operations to clear coral reefs around Pacific islands sometimes produced a large wave, raising the possibility of creating a "tsunami bomb".  Explosive tests carried out in waters north of Auckland led scientists to conclude that the weapon was feasible and a series of 10 massive blasts offshore could create a 10-metre (33-foot) tsunami capable of inundating a small coastal city. 

"It was absolutely astonishing," Waru said.  "First that anyone would come up with the idea of developing a weapon of mass destruction based on a tsunami... and also that New Zealand seems to have successfully developed it to the degree that it might have worked.  "I only came across it because they were still vetting the report, so there it was sitting on somebody's desk (in the archives)."  Waru said the project was shelved in early 1945, despite the success of initial, small-scale tests.  "If you put it in a James Bond movie it would be viewed as fantasy but it was a real thing," he said.  Among the other oddities in the archives are Defence Department records of hundreds of UFO sightings by members of the public, military personnel and commercial pilots, mostly involving moving lights in the sky.  Some of the accounts include drawings of flying saucers, descriptions of aliens wearing "pharaoh masks" and alleged examples of extra-terrestrial writing.  New Zealand's most famous close encounter was when a television crew recorded strange lights off the South Island town of Kaikoura in 1978.  However, in a disappointment for ET spotters, the military concluded the lights could be explained by natural phenomena such as lights from boats being reflected off clouds or an unusual view of the planet Venus.  Waru said it was seemingly humdrum documents, like school magazines from the early 1900s extolling the virtues of the British Empire, that provided a window into the attitudes of the past.  "There's masses of records and kilometres of important files but you realise pretty quickly that every piece of paper is related to an individual at some point in time," he said.  "So it gives the modern researcher a peek into the private lives of individuals, which I found interesting -- divorce files from Dunedin, letters a young soldier wrote home to their parents." - Terra Daily.

January 01, 2013 - UNITED STATES - A Sacramento man scanning the night sky caught a sudden burst of light through his telescope. He recorded that strange sight with his smart phone.

CBS13 shared the video with experts to see if they could solve the mystery. This mysterious little tale begins earlier this week when Good Day Sacramento's Cody Stark got this message on Facebook: "I have something on video no one has ever seen. I had my telescope out, caught an explosion in space. Wanna see the video?" Cody's response? Absolutely! The video was shot with an iPhone through the eyepiece of a telescope, so CBS13 had to enlarge it to get a better look. It was shot on Dec. 20 around 5 p.m. in Sacramento by viewer Elijah Prychodzko.

"I saw something that I'd never seen before. I saw another object orbiting this - whatever it was up there, and I've never seen anything like that before," said Prychodzko. He thought it was a little strange so he put his phone down, called his nephew, and then returned to shoot a second video clip. "Oh my God, it just blew up. Something blew up," he's heard saying on the video. "As soon as I put the camera to the telescope it just blew up and I didn't know what to say," he told CBS13. So Cody sent the video off to Dr. Stephen P Maran, who wrote the book Astronomy for Dummies. Dr. Maran responded by saying he didn't recognize the "explosion" as a known astronomical phenomenon. "My personal opinion is that it is not an astronomical event," he wrote. Whatever it was, it was almost never seen by Dr. Maran or anyone else - because Prychodzko nearly sold it on Craigslist. "Almost got rid of it a week before. I was trying to sell it on Craigslist and I was getting offers and, man, you know what, at this time I'm glad I didn't sell it," he said. December 24, 2012 - VIETNAM - More and more people in Vietnam have stated that they could see UFOs with their eyes, or could take picture of UFOs which they believed come from other planets. Most recently, an UFO appeared on the sky in the central province of Thanh Hoa. A picture showing a strange flying object was made public. The author of the picture was Le Khac Dat, 19, who lives in Hoang Ha Commune of Hoang Hoa district. Dat said the picture was taken at about 5 pm of December 9, 2012. Dat did not discover any strange thing when he took picture. However, later, when he reviewed the picture, he discovered an unfamiliar subject on the picture. The original picture of Dat has stirred up the public. Local people thought that this was really an UFO from another planet, who came to learn more about human beings. Meanwhile, others believed that Dat used his Photoshop skills to fabricate the story about UFO. However, the people, who saw the original picture, said they could not find any signs showing that the boy made some changes to the picture. People still have doubts about the phenomenon. The problem is that the UFO can be seen only on Dat’s picture, while no other person saw any flying object on the sky at that moment.

On July 26, 2011, a 26 second video clip showing a light stain that moved slowly and then faded out suddenly in HCM City was posted on YouTube. A lot of people believed that this was an UFO. The author of the clip said he recorded the images at about 0 am of July 25, and the place was an apartment block in district 3 in HCM City. The video clip then raised people’s curiosity, who tried to analyze it to find out if these were “artificial images.” However, the author of the clip said he himself was not sure if this was an UFO.

At 5 pm of October 28, 2010, Nguyen Xuan Vu in Hanoi recorded the images of a flying object which created stain of light on the sky. It looked like a burning object flying from the outer space through the earth’s atmosphere. However, Nguyen Duc Phuong from the Vietnam Astronomical Universe Society said on local newspapers that this was a civil airplane.

A blogger has affirmed that an UFO once appeared in 1991 in a small village in Thong Nhat district of Dong Nai province. The blogger affirmed that on a day of the 1991’s summer, he saw a column of red fire rising above a tree tens of years old just for several seconds before it disappeared. Scientists have not given any explanation about the UFO in Dong Nai province. There has been no proof to say that this is an “artificial” UFO.
